Better Living, Inc. has been providing residential services for developmentally disabled individuals receiving State funding since our agency began in 1996. We work closely with over 40 shared living providers - individuals who bring our clients into their own homes to provide full time care. This model of service delivery provides incredible benefits to those looking for consistent, dependable support, truly person-centered planning, and a family style setting.
Better Living, Inc. also provides Day Services to our clients at our main building located near 75th and Pacific. Our well-designed floor plan and bright rooms offer a variety of spaces in which our clients can congregate, eat lunch, watch movies, receive therapies, engage in hobbies, and be with their friends. Our well-trained staff provide our clients with a multitude of services and our Center provides a consistent number of social outings and activities that meet a wide variety of interests.
Better Living, Inc. now also offers residential services to seniors looking for an alternative to traditional models of care. Based on the same shared living model we have used for years, and is currently being used in other states for seniors, we can offer individuals placement in the home of a caregiver. In essence, it is room, board, and care. This model is ideal for those who are no longer able to live in their current setting but would still like to live in a home instead of a community center or facility. The added benefit of having round-the-clock care with the same trusted caregiver is a great option for those looking for quality, consistency, and familiarity.
